Professional profile

Analytical chemistry, from method design to regulated release

I am an analytical chemist working at the point where instrumentation, regulation and product safety meet. My work spans pharmaceutical research and development, quality control in regulated laboratories, and the development, validation and transfer of analytical methods.

Much of it concerns substances that must be measured at trace level, where the question is rarely whether an instrument can produce a number and almost always whether that number can be defended: nitrosamine impurities and NDSRIs in drug products, PFAS in water, residual solvents, pesticides and mycotoxins.

Career

Laboratories, in sequence

Regulated laboratories are where a method stops being an idea and starts producing numbers somebody has to defend.

    Education and credentials

Qualified, and accountable to a professional order

Degrees earned in Montréal and Tunis, with Québec equivalences assessed, and training kept current in the techniques the work depends on.

A Publications section will be added when a verified list of papers, patents, posters or conference contributions is available.
